What are the benefits of the Europe Travel Pass?
The Europe Travel Pass offers all travelers value, convenience and choice with discounts for 80 tourist services in Europe, from sightseeing to canal rides, and from a Medieval Banquet to guided biking trips. It’s the only discount pass for all of Europe.

Does Europe Travel Pass come with a guidebook?
No. A guidebook would be outdated quickly. Since new discounts are added frequently, all information is listed on this web site. You can print the country and/or operator pages and take them with you to Europe. This way you know all the latest savings and who to contact in Europe. New services are added continuously.

Do I have to book in advance or can I book on the spot?
With most you can do both. Do you like to be flexible or do you want to arrange things in advance? Click on the country links above to find the details for all participating operators. For most we suggest calling a day ahead from your hotel and guarantee your booking with a credit card. Always mention that you have a Europe Travel Pass.

Is there any benefit to buying the Europe Travel Pass before I leave?
Yes. The Europe Travel Pass is NOT available in Europe. It needs to be ordered in advance so we can mail it to you. Handling and postage is free.

Savings
How much will I save?
For all products the minimum discount is 10%. Some others are 15%, 20% or even 40%. If you take just one all-day excursion in Europe, you often save more than the cost of the Pass. Savings are available on day services. For overnight programs, contact a travel agent to make sure you book the best - not just the cheapest, program for you.

The Pass costs US $10 purchased by check or credit card in the USA. From other countries it can purchased by credit card only.

Is there a Child’s Pass?
There is no Pass for children since operators already discount prices for children. Children's discounts are listed on each operator's page. They are different for each operator.
We recommend getting a Europe Travel Pass for all persons who are not entitled to the operator's discounted prices for children. Otherwise they have to pay the full fare in Europe. The operator’s web site will show the exact information. Children under 5 are often free.

Validity
How does my Europe Travel Pass work?
When you receive the Pass put your name on the back and take it with you to Europe. The first day you plan to use the Pass indicate the date on the back. It’s good for one month from that date and can be used at participating operators throughout Europe.

Can I take more than one trip with the same operator?
Yes you can. For example, you can first book a city tour with the London coach operator, then a day tour to Stonehenge and Bath (the most popular one) and later a day trip by rail to Paris or Edinburgh.

Can I book overnight trips?
The Pass is available for day services. For overnight trips contact a travel agent that specializes in Europe. That agent will know what’s best for you.

What happens if I change the date of my trip to Europe?
Your Europe Travel Pass is valid through 2008 so just hold on to it. However, note that some of the discounts may have changed. Check for the latest information.
